Maintenance Officer (Hahndorf)

Join Bene Aged Care at our St. Pauls Hahndorf site as a Full-time Maintenance Officer and play a vital role in ensuring our facility is safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for residents and staff. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, contribute to inspections, and deliver excellent service with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance procedures and respond to reactive maintenance requests
• Utilize the Bene Network system to manage and document tasks
• Provide on-call support and cover laundry shifts as needed, including weekends and public holidays
• Communicate maintenance issues requiring external assistance to the supervisor
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and report any hazards

Essential Criteria

• Current National Police Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working in an aged care environment
• Test & Tag Certification
• Ability to speak Italian
