Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care to meet residents’ health, safety, and comfort needs.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately and document them as required.
• Supervise and guide Personal Care Workers to ensure effective and timely care delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date care plans, assessments, and incident reports.
• Support and mentor care staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Actively participate in quality improvement and compliance with aged care standards.

Key Performance Areas

• Adhere to Bene’s policies, ANMC standards, and AHPRA requirements.
• Provide care that respects residents' preferences, cultural values, and spiritual beliefs.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for care plans, reviews, and assessments.
• Foster teamwork and high standards of care among the care staff.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and respond professionally to feedback.

Essential Criteria

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Strong clinical knowledge, particularly in aged care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to detail and compliance with care standards.
• Current National Police Certificate.

Desirable Criteria

• Italian language skills.
• Previous experience in aged care.
• Current First Aid Certification.
