As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while leading and mentoring staff to maintain clinical excellence. Reporting to the Site Manager, your key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing 1 – 2 units (31 – 45 beds).
- Providing holistic clinical care, ensuring best-practice standards.
- Supervising and mentoring Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Care Workers.
- Supporting care planning, assessments, and AN-ACC documentation compliance.
- Assisting the Residential Site Manager with daily operations.
- Ensuring compliance with AHPRA standards, aged care accreditation, and Bene policies.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and staff development.
- Opportunity to take on additional portfolios based on experience and interest.
✔ Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
✔ Strong clinical expertise in aged care.
✔ Leadership skills – ability to mentor and support a multidisciplinary team.
✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
✔ Commitment to person-centred care – upholding dignity, respect, and resident choice.
✔ Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certification.
✔ National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
✔ Full working rights in Australia.
➕ Aged care experience.
➕ Italian language skills (highly regarded but not essential).
